Dangerous Liberal Baby Sitters

Today I have mostly realised that I am indispensable, or stupid. Unfortunately I fear that it is most likely to be the latter.

I seemed to have been signed up to spend the next 3 weeks in Norwich, Which, to coin one of my favourite phrases at the moment, Sucks!!!

I also seemed to have gained a number of dependants, not only am I expected to baby sit a new starter on his first week, but have been asked to mentor another new starter for as long as he needs it. Quite why I have no idea as it seems so long since I actually did any of my own work, that I have probably forgotten what I do. But as a positive, at least I have Sarum to keep me sane/insane next week.

On an unrelated note, my friends and I are entered into the bowling competition at work. Inspired by an American Advert during the elections we call ourselves "The Dangerous Liberals". I happened to come across a Blog explaining the problem of widespread liberalism in the American college system, find it here.

Those Damn Liberals!

Being the nice guy that I am, I'm always willing to lend a hand if your newbie dependants ask akward questions ("Daddy, why do we have to do all these pointless spreadsheets? I don't wannaaaaaa"). I've also pretty much volunteered to be down permanently until the end of March, barring any holiday I already have booked. Gonna see if I can get out of some of it, but I probably can't. I'm also likely to be the mentor for any new starters in the projects team, and maybe some of the "quality team" goons too, since there isn't anyone else.
